Please Note: The Castle does NOT offer alterations on suit jackets/blazers or wedding dresses (bridesmaids dresses are welcome). The Castle highly recommends checking out Men’s Warehouse or Jenna Eden Designs for these kinds of alterations.

The Castle is currently unable to accommodate for expedited alterations (1 week or less).

Alterations needed within 2 weeks will be subject to an expedite fee.

  • Who Am I? Hello! My name is Gracie. I am a designer, seamstress, and costumer. With 10+ years of sewing experience ranging from simple projects to large scale theatrical productions, my attention to detail and the quality of my work are of the utmost importance.
  • What is "The Castle?" Answer: a place of alterations and creations. The Castle offers alterations for apparel items ranging from jeans to jackets to prom dresses. The Castle also creates memorial items with important and sentimental fabrics brought in by customers.

Prices may vary based on complexity, beading, lace, etc. Alterations: Hem (+$10 per layer): Rolled Hem, $20 Blind, $35 Saved, $25 Shoulder Adjustments: Without Sleeves, $25 With Sleeves, $35 Take In/ Let Out, $35 Add Bra Cups, $20 Clothing Repairs: Tear Repair, $20 Replace Zipper, $45 Detail Work, $25/hour Memorial Items; Teddy Bear, $60 Tote Bag, $40 Pillow, $35 Quilt Block Shirt, $50 Quilt, Inquire Inside. Please allow for a 2-3 week turnaround.
  • How Do I Get to the Castle? When you are on your way to your appointment, make sure you are going to: Salons & Studios 4610 Utica Ridge Rd Davenport, IA 52807 You can hangout in the waiting area at the front of the building, and I will meet you there so we can both walk back to The Castle!
